The Class of 2013 is another talented bunch in Indiana.
It’s a tough class to pick a No. 1 and this is the fourth time I have re-worked the listing in three years and now the fourth No. 1 player in the class.
But Demetrius Jackson has shown to be tops, in my opinion, with his play during the season and now into the spring and summer. He’s a really good player.
Here’s a look at the top 25:
• 1. Demetrius Jackson, Mishawaka Marian, 6-2, PG – Uncommitted and overall the best player in the class. He can do a lot of damage.
• 2. Bryson Scott, Fort Wayne Northrop, 6-1, PG (Purdue) – Had him at No. 1 for a while and it’s a close call.
• 3. Zak Ivin, Hamilton Southeastern, 6-6, SF (Michigan) – At times, he looks the best. But still needs more consistency.
• 4. Devin Davis, Warren Central, 6-6, SF (Indiana) – Has played much, much better this spring and could move up.
• 5. V.J. Beachem, New Haven, 6-7, SG (Notre Dame)
• 6. Collin Hartman, Cathedral, 6-8, SF (Indiana)
• 7. Basil Smotherman, Lawrence North, 6-5, SG (Purdue)
